In 2015 a long-life dream became reality, after John J. worked in the restaurant business for many years in New York City and next to some of the top-class world chefs, the passion of cooking and service grew in John. Finding in Atlanta, the lovely sweet home warm taste of cooking in Johanna and the perfect partner to make this dream possible. These elements, passion and love to serve are making PHD a unique premium experience of distinction, taste and a gastronomic adventure. After a successful chapter in Georgia, now in a SOLO STATUS in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area in North Carolina, John J. with PHD is ready to make a difference in the local street food cuisine, catering and delivery services.

Simple homemade sauce recipes, fresh toppings, premium Hot Dog buns and the best sausage in town are making the traditional Hot Dog an extraordinary experience, finding the passion and love in every bite, touching the soul of the people in Chapel Hill-Carrboro.

Paisa Hot Dogs are made by family and our concept is to serve as we will like to be served, this vision will bring PHD to a legendary status in the years to come.
